How to Stop The Microsoft Update Notice on Macs

If you're continually getting this annoying pop-up Microsoft notice on your Mac, below are instructions for how to remove it permanently.

Click on the GO menu at the top of your screen then drag to Go to Folder.

Type (or copy/paste) the following:    /library/application support/microsoft   then click Go.

It will open the location of the file.  Delete the MAU2.0 folder.

Enter your password when requested then click OK.

That's it!
