How to Add/Use Chrome Read & Write

Students on Chromebooks/laptops have the ability to use Read and Write for Google Chrome for text to speech services which is a simple Chrome extension.

Click here to go to the Chrome Store

Search for Read & Write For Google then click Add to Chrome.

Click Add Extension

You'll now see the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar.

Repeat the steps to install TextHelp PDF Reader

How to Use:

Highlight the text you want read and click on this icon in your toolbar. 

 

Another toolbar will pop up to start, stop, pause and other options.
